3D Modeling

These scenes were created as part of a second year university module focused on 3D modeling. The task was to create three pieces: an environment, a vehicle and a character.

I built all the models in Maya, using my own textures and royalty free ones. Mudbox was also used for various character details and map paints, with all textures painted in Photoshop. Rendered with Mental Ray.

My goal was to present a Victorian indoor environment representing the home of a “dark magician”.


Concept was though as a spaceship employing stealth technology. Rendered with MentalRay.


Concept inspired by Dark Souls’ Siegmeyer of Catarina and Justin Marshall’s Digital Tutors Hero Character tutorial.
Character imported and textured in UDK.
